XARTS 2025: International Conference and Summer School on Extended Arts

The International Conference and Summer School on Extended Arts is organized every two years by the Department of Product and Systems Design Engineering of the University of the Aegean. The 2025 symposium will explore ways of designing the personality of transmedia characters with methodologies derived from animation, computer games, interactive media and interactive networked environments. In the summer school workshops, design prototypes will be implemented using two different methods: performative physical interactions in digital environments and the use of artificial intelligence techniques for the implementation of design documents.

XARTS 2025 will be held in Syros (21-28/6/2025). It is co-organized with the Ionian University and the University of Peloponnese in the context of IMAGINE MOCAP, a Research project funded by the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation. Students from European Universities participating in the Summer School are eligible for the attribution of 3 ECTS.

More information will be available at www.xarts2025.gr after February, 1st, 2025.
